When life feels like a struggle, therapeutic support can be helpful. Whether you are seeking support for everyday issues or more complex difficulties, such as a traumatic experience, I am here to help. I am committed to nurturing the uniqueness of every client and to providing an environment where you feel safe enough to get the support you need.

Experience: I have experience working alongside clients affected by anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma and abuse, maternal mental health problems, and difficulties with weight. My work with children has ranged from resolving the trauma of sexual abuse, witnessing abuse, and separation from a parent/caregiver. My areas of interest include, adjusting to parenthood and life transitions.

Therapy Training: I work alongside adults as well as adolescents and children. The therapeutic approaches that I am trained in are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Narrative Therapy. I use an evidenced based approach that will best suit you or your child’s needs.

Qualifications:

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology.
  • Master of Health Science in Psychology.

Professional Membership:

  • Registered with the New Zealand Psychologist Board as a Counselling Psychologist.
  • Member of the New Zealand Psychological Society.
  • Member of the Institute of Counselling Psychology.

Individual therapy sessions are $140 per hour.
